No one, at any age, should go before Allah without being able to read the Noble Qur’an and without knowing the essentials of their faith. For a servant who knows their priorities, there can clearly be no excuse for this, especially when our madrasas and our esteemed teachers stand ready to offer this education gladly, to people of every age, without expecting any material return.
In the Fundamentals of Islamic Knowledge program, which lasts about one year, our students are expected to reach a level where they can lead prayer as imams and recite the Noble Qur’an without mistakes. Alongside this, we seek to instill a consciousness of worship through all the essential knowledge of Islamic practice (ilmihal).
